Since its inception, Jan Chetna Manch Bokaro has welcomed volunteers, well-wishers, and medicos to experience and understand life in one of India’s poorest regions. From 2020, we have been offering these opportunities more systematically through several initiatives.
Rural Travel Fellowship
In collaboration with the Tribal Health Initiative (THI) from Sittilingi, Tamil Nadu, this fellowship allows young medicos to live, work, and contribute to our health programmes for 2 to 4 months. This programme has been running successfully for the last four years.
